Ultracold atomic gases have attracted additional attention since it became experimentally possible to mimic the effect of gauge potentials and spin orbit coupling and to therefore emulated topological phases of matter.
In our recent works [1,2] we investigate the fate of nematic many-body phases of spin-1 bosons in the presence of spin-orbit coupling in one dimension and uncover a rich phase diagram with exotic, spin-charge synchronized quantum criticality with emergent supersymmetry.
